Spring Hecht MSW, LICSW

Spring Hecht, a native of Seattle, has worked in the adoption field for 15 years and is an adopted person from South Korea. After graduating from Whitman College with a B.A. in Psychology, she spent two years in the Peace Corps in West Africa, and then went on to complete a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University in New York. Spring has a wide range of professional experiences including being a Clinical Social Worker and Administrator at a large adoption agency, Public Health research, presentations at adoption conferences, trainings for adoptive parents and adoption professionals, media interviews and participation in multiple inter-agency post adoption support consortiums. She is certified as Trauma and Attachment Therapist through Cascadia and in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). She is currently a school board director in her district and a former member of the Washington Adoption Reunion Movement (WARM) Board of Directors. Her current work includes private psychotherapy practice, consulting, training and parent coaching. She and her family live in the Pacific Northwest.
